Renewed Drive and Focus for WorkCDO

First of all, we would like to express our gratitude for all those who expressed interest and support either through sending in job postings, commenting via the chat system, or sending in your resumes.

As we all know, this is a volunteer project. Since WorkCDO started, this has been primarily worked on by volunteers who happen to see lots of unnoticed job ads on the street or on community bulletin boards all around Mindanao. However, in the recent months we have not been able to rigorously focus on adding new job postings because of other responsibilities and hectic work schedules. Yes, the people behind this project have work. And this is our way of helping our kababayans to be able to have work as well.

Yet, our effort is not enough. We definitely need help. This project has no catches, no gimmicks. Just plain community service. We need help in searching out those unknown, unnoticed job posts, and have them put here for all the people to see and notice. We need help in letting other people know that this site exist. We would like to turn this into a real community project, and not just a project by the few.

WE NEED YOUR HELP. OUR KABABAYANS NEED YOUR HELP.

With this renewed vigor, we are looking forward to putting in more job ads. But we need your help. Please do send in job postings as many as you can. Even job postings for tuberos, carpenters, bakers, what have you. If it qualifies as a job vacancy, then send them in.

You can send in job vacancies as text file (.TXT), MSOFFICE (.DOC, .XLS), or PDF. We'll be happy to put them up for you.

For job seekers, please don't send us your resumes. We are not a resume databank.

We can definitely do this. You can do this. Let's do this.

Thank you very much for your continued support. We are looking forward to more job post submissions and contributions from you in the near future!

Best regards,

The WorkCDO Team

We have the same crusade -- helping those who have no work find one.

Why not join forces with us at www.mindanaodaily.com and www.northernmindanao.com websites? We print job postings too.

God bless in all your endeavors and to each of your team members!

Great! I think that is a good way of helping others especially those who have no jobs. We can really get rid poverty if we Filipinos are helping each other. One way in realizing such is the employment system. Good luck to all of you guys.
